Music Classes
You will be taught to play music in all aspects of the world
of music has to offer. We will focus on the rhythmical music:
Rock, pop, funk, jazz and world music. We will spend a lot
of our time to go in depth musically, so you can broaden your horizons musically. You will also have the opportunity to record your songs at the folk-high school’s own professional studio with the latest hardware and produce them on your very own CD.
Music theory
Theory is important. We are working intensively with both
musical notes, fine tuning the ears, improvisations, analysis
and arrangements.
You will get lessons according to
your knowledge in music theory, from beginners to advanced. |

Sing, play and dance
This is an important part of your education. We will work
with percussion, imitations, pulse and the feel of the
rhythm. You will also work with different combinations
between voice, hands and feet. It is both
challenging and fun!
Workshops
Every week workshops are arranged, where we focus on for
example, switching instruments, music history and stage
performance.
Touring
We perform many concerts on our pre-mises and also go out
on tour around Dk, performing for a larger audience. An
experience of a life time!

Guest teachers
We have a good connection to the music conservatorium and
we use it to its fullest – maybe the conservatorium
is
your next step.
We are often
visited by professionel bands and guestteachers and our
conservatorium educated teachers are always ready
to give you solo lessons.
All classes will be in both danish and english when
we have students from abroad.
